I've always known that I need to be grateful for the things I have and always give thanks, but i never hit me until today, as I found out a girl from back home has gone into a coma due to a cardiac arrest that was caused by a bad asthma attack. They don't know if she will be able to make it and she is only 24 and has been married for a year. Today I realized that just being here on earth, right here at BYU-I is a miracle. Being here breathing is a gift that my Father in heaven has granted me. As she awaits here between life and death, her family pleading for her life as they cling to their testimony in Christ and God, it really makes me grateful for what I have. You will never know when you are going to depart and return to our father's presence. I shall not take for granted the little things in life anymore. The beauty of what he has created for us to enjoy. The opportunities we have to meet new people each day. We are his hands here on earth and we need to get started in his work for the time will come quickly when he once again comes and gathers his flock. We need to not take for granted the wonderful people he has placed by our side. Enjoy the little moments in life. Take time to smile. The lord has given us trials in this life to grow and to have faith in him. It is only through our savior and his grace that we can overcome what may come.

losing your Wisdom

Well I got my wisdom teeth out on Friday!!!!

i was really scared and hardly got any sleep

the night before. I took some oral sedation one

hour before. So by the time I arrived i was

feeling really light headed and i remember

the nurse laying me down on the lets just

say not so comfortable chair. Then i can

recall she was trying different nose pieces

on and I remember not answering for a while

one felt better for a while. Then I was out cold.

I remember asking her if she had any kids, funny

thing is I'm not sure if it was real or in my dreams.

Then I remember waking up in the middle of the

procedure throwing up..... really strange. Then I

distinctly remember the nurse putting my seat belt

on for me and then i woke up on my mom's bed.

Later my mom told me on the way home I was

undressing myself. At a stop light I even tried

getting out of the car. "Tehehe" so I haven't

swollen up that bad, thank goodness. But who

know maybe tomorrow has something different

in store for me =))

Most exciting day of the summer!!

Ok so today the most amazing
thing happened!!! After I had
an enjoyable morning with Emma
and afternoon full of the latest
scoop here in good old Midland
with Michelle,I arrived home and
got ready for the Y. "Y.M.C.A" to
find a delicious afternoon snack.
My plan for today's fitness involved
machine work... toning, But as I
arrived I noticed Victoria, the ZUMBA
instructor was not teaching today but
the lovely "Friday Lady" (don't know her
name YET). She is way awesome=)))). So I
said to heck with machine work!! HELLO
ZUMBA!!! YES I will confess.... I am a
zumba addict! So I walked in and called
Andy and told her change of plans, it's
all about zumba today. Well I <3>

so of course on time as always, five a clock
hottie shows up =))) my heart almost missed
a beat. You can't miss a beat when your in
zumba! It's not good for your health. those
nice muscles of his, no TATOES insight,
ring on his finger, and still no name =(
(hence five-a-clock hottie) and no courage
to talk to him. But i did findout what he
drives and that he has a black lab in the
back of his truck. And I ONLY know this bc
I've seen him by his truck!! nothing else.
well any who as Andy and I were heading
to institute we happened to drive by this park.
(no need to know which one) and pop he was
there!!!! With his dog. so Andy and i decide
to take a "walk" bc we need to "cool down" ;-)
so we go the opposite direction he is going &
to my astonishment Andy decides she is going
to be cute and stop to talk to him so here it
goes......
ANDY- "Oh he's a cute dog can i pet him?
or is it a she??
five-a-clock hottie - "she".
ANDY- " whats here name?"
Five-a clock hottie - " Layla "
ANDY- " Oh she is all wet" hehe

so through that five sec conversation
i was standing there wanting to scream
its me!! its me. I'M the one who really
wants to talk to you . He was even cutter
up close. He has a really deep voice and I
just wanted to ask him to come to church with
me on Sunday. hahaha. So i can't wait to see
him from now on. =))))
That was my amazing day!!!
